Dear Parents, Players and Supporters of our Youth Soccer Academy,
We hereby invite you to our Year End Function on Friday, 14 October 2011.
As from 15h00, we will host an internal Fun soccer tournament within the respective age groups.
After the tournament, at 18h00, we will all meet at the NEW Beach Football (Soccer) Pitch, where the awards for the year 2011 will get announced. The prize giving will start at 18h30 and should end approximately at 20h30. The highlight of the evening will be the announcement of the "Player of the Year 2011".
We, the committee and trainers of the SKW Youth Soccer Academy, look forward to welcome all soccer players at the internal soccer contest, and then of course to see all parents, siblings, friends and guests at the prize giving.

SKW-Kicker feiern - Vom 28.10.2011
Windhoek – Die Fußball-Abteilung vom Sportklub Windhoek (SKW) hat Mitte Oktober ihren Saisonabschluss gefeiert. Vor der traditionellen Ehrung der herausragenden Spieler trugen die unter sieben- bis unter 17-jährigen Nachwuchskicker jeweils in ihrer Altersklasse ein Spaßturnier auf dem vereinseigenen Beach-Soccer-Platz aus, ehe sie auf einem Parcours ihre Ballkontrolle, Koordination und Schnelligkeit unter Beweis stellten.
Im Rahmen der anschließenden Preisverleihung wurde Sean van Rensburg bei den Jüngsten (U7) zum besten Spieler der abgelaufenen Saison gewählt, während diese Ehre in der Altersstufe U9 Oliver Baas zuteil wurde. Auch Nikolai Pfeiffer (U11), Donovan Boois (U13) und Carsten Horn (U15) wurden als herausragende Akteure ihrer Altersgruppe geehrt. Bemerkenswert war die Wahl von SKW-Jugendkoordinator Martin Brosda, der mit Marko Zirzow den erst 15 jahre alten Nachwuchskeeper der U17-Mannschaft zum besten Spieler des Jahres kürte.
Auch bei den Mädchen sicherte sich mit Sophie Seydel eine Torhüterin diesen Titel, während die Finnin Sanni Miettinen als Neuzugang gleich zur besten Torjägerin avancierte. Romarlinn Brandt (U13), Willem Tjizu (U15) und Leonardo Gomes Alves (U17) zeigten sich bei den Jungen am treffsichersten. Den größten Sprung in ihrer fußballerischen Entwicklung machten Mark van Doorn (U7), Mirko Kriess (U11), Marcel Bader (U13), Tangeni Ndeitunga (U15) und Janice Lohmann (Mädchen).
Eröffnet worden war die Veranstaltung mit einer Rede des neuen Vorsitzenden der SKW-Fußballabteilung, Ralph Ellinger, der angekündigt hat, den Fußballsport des Vereins vor allem in der Jugendarbeit auf die nächste Entwicklungsstufe bringen zu wollen. „Ihr seid die Zukunft des namibischen Fußballs“, adressierte Ellinger die versammelten Nachwuchskicker und versicherte ihnen: „Wir werden dafür sorgen, dass ihr weiterhin mit viel Freude eurem Lieblingshobby nachgehen könnt.“
